Manzana Products follows the strict guidelines and residue testing requirements of the USDA to ensure our ACV remains clean and free of toxins and synthetic chemicals. When it comes to buying organic, apples and apple related products are, without a doubt, ALWAYS a must. Since the beginning of the Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen, apples have been high on the list of fruits and vegetables to avoid unless they are organic, as they contain the highest amounts of pesticide residue. Health, taste, and caring for nature and the environment are the three most significant motivations for buying organic products.

We press only whole apples, never using apple juice concentrate. Pressing occurs at ambient temperature which allows us to keep the healthy benefits of the apple and active nutritional components like enzymes, tannins, and fiber intact. We also don’t add any unnecessary ingredients during the fermentation process but rather, take advantage of the natural yeast (or flora) that comes from the apple itself. This process is very important in ensuring that the final product still has a fresh apple taste.
